Over the next few weeks I’ll be popping some of my published and unpublished features on this site for any cyclists out there who might be interested in planning their own long distance off road mountain biking adventure. Some of the e-zines will be straight out of the magazines and I hope to find some time to update some of the older articles with new information.
The e-zine, a kind of magazine on the web, will have stories packed full of wicked photos and will hopefully inspire you to grab your bike and plan your next adventure!

I had a few emails after the Gulf2Gulf from riders who fancy making the crossing unsupported. The most common question I got asked was “What did you take?”.
Well, Tim and I worked very hard for many minutes to come up with a fool proof spreadsheet of essential items to take on a self sufficient long distance off road mountain bike trip and I’d love to share our thoughts with you in an upcoming GEAR section, stay tooned..
