Time to leave Mt Isa – on the road again

Our next stop is Cloncurry to the East.  We’ll be heading in to a head wind this evening and rain is on its way – time to test the MSR hubba hubba tent waterproof skin me thinks!

We’ll try to blog in Cloncurry tomorrow afternoon, failing that it will probably be Normanton as we have about four days of no comms between now and then.

Thanks again for all your comments, we love reading them all and often talk about them on the road!

Now it’s time to mix up the Verofit powder in to the many litres of water, load up the trailers and panniers and head into that head wind!

    Hi Guys …. watching your daily updates with great interest… photos are awesome…keep ‘em coming! I’m currently nursing a badly sprained wrist (possible fracture) after coming off the KTM trail bike on a training day up in the Watigans..getting ready for my big outback trip in July!     I thought you were nuts, but it turns out it was possible to do it within the time. Only 450 k to go from Cloncurry! Soak up the sights as much as you can boys!

    Not far to go now. I hope you guys have extra comfy saddles, I can imagine how sore that must be getting at this stage. 100km riding before breakfast? You guys are legends!
